I wish all my software would run on Linux - it's far better than windows. Compatibility issues are still a big problem for me, though.

I'm not a linux expert by any means, but some of my friends are, I believe there is something called wine which allows you to run a virtual win32 environment and you can run all your windows apps through that.

For all of us with home studios, and lots of programs to run, or people at work who want to surf the net, this is really helpful. It's called double desktop - you can run two desktops at the same time, with programs on each, and switch between them. You could have your multi-track on one desktop, and the mixer on the other!

Hey thats a great piece of software and cheaper than buying a second monitor! In RedHat you can have as many virtual desktops as you want, its about time more of these innovative linux ideas made there way to the mainstream.

I know why many people like Linux more. Windows often crashes and there are always problems with keys. I recently thought about changing the OS when compatibility issues with the software I needed surfaced. I found a solution by using download kmspico and after activation, everything works as it should again. Everything is legal, free and safe.
